REGISTRATION

To register, please fill in the on-line registration form. Note that possible earlier submission of an abstract did not provide the registration to the conference and also the authors of contributed papers must register by filling the registration form. Submission of final papers for proceedings will be handled separately!

Credit card payment form is available here. It is accessible for the registered participants using their e-mail as login and a password they provided at the registration. It uses a secure connection provided by the Česká spořitelna bank (member of Eerste group). Please, see below for detailed conditions of the credit card payment and for alternative payment options (bank transfer).

At any later time, it is possible to return to the registration form by using this link with the e-mail as login and a password provided at the first visit to the registration and update the data (name, affiliation, ...) or register for additional items not asked at the initial registration (accompanying person, conference trip, conference dinner, ...) The additional items can also be paid by a credit card using the standard link. On payment, only the price of not yet paid items will be requested.

"Full" and "Student" registration fees include:

• conference materials and proceedings, volume I (papers for oral presentations in print, all papers on CD);
• coffee breaks and lunches;
• welcome reception;
• 2012 membership fees for Statistical Modelling Society including 2012 subscription to Statistical Modelling: An International Journal.

"Student without journal" registration fees include all above except the 2012 subscription to Statistical Modelling: An International Journal.

To be eligible for the student registration fees, an upload of a document confirming the student status will be requested on the registration form. This can be either a scan copy of a letter of reference signed by the supervisor, head of department or similar authority, or a copy of the student card from which it must be clear that the participant is a student registered in his/her institution for the academic year 2011–12.

Early registration fees are applicable with registration on April 23, 2012 or before and a payment received on April 30, 2012 or before.

NOTICE: People who already paid their 2012 membership fee for Statistical Modelling Society, please, contact the organizers at iwsm2012@karlin.mff.cuni.cz before proceeding with the payment.

Only student participant optioning for the conference dinner at registration is entitled to a reduced price of one conference dinner.

Accompanying person fee includes:

coffee breaks and lunches; welcome reception.

Excursion fees include:

coach transfer; dinner in a village restaurant; guided tour to the Karlštejn castle (``Excursion to Karlštejn castle'' option).

At registration, it is possible to choose freely one of the two excursion options. Please, see the social events page for more details concerning the excursion.
At any later time, it is possible to decide freely to follow the ``walking excursion'' instead of the ``Karlštejn castle'' option. However, no refund of the price difference of 10 EUR will be made. Later change from the ``walking excursion'' to the ``Karlštejn castle'' option will be available at the conference registration desk upon a payment of the 10 EUR price difference and only as long as arranged capacity of the castle tour suffices.

Payment options

• Credit card.
  This option is available after filling the registration form. Please, follow this link and use your e-mail as login and a password you provided in the registration form. The total (not yet paid) amount of your registration fees will automatically appear on the payment form. You can pay at any time after registration. Nevertheless, please take also into account the deadlines to be entitled to early registration fees!
  
  Upon successfull payment, an automatic confirmation looking like this file (the MaPH Statistics s.r.o. mentioned in the ``Merchant name'' item is a service organization which ensures the technical parts of the conference) will be sent to the e-mail provided on the registration form. An official payment receipt will be provided in the conference folder that you shall receive at the conference registration desk. Please, send an e-mail to iwsm2012@karlin.mff.cuni.cz with subject PAYMENT RECEIPT if you need it earlier.
  
  The following cards are accepted: VISA, VISA Electron, MasterCard. Please, note, that among others, Maestro, American Express, Dinners Club, 4B cards are not accepted.
   
• Bank transfer in EUR.
  To pay the fees by a bank transfer in EUR, please, contact the organizers at iwsm2012@karlin.mff.cuni.cz after filling the registration form. Please, provide the list of participants for whom the fees are to be paid by a single transfer and your identification as it should appear on the invoice (name of the institution, address, VAT number, ...). An invoice will be provided together with payment details. It will be requested to make the transaction using the OUR payment instruction.
   
• National bank transfer in CZK.
  Participants (from Czech institutions) who wish to pay their fees by a bank transfer in CZK from their bank account in a Czech bank into our CZK account, please, contact the organizers at iwsm2012@karlin.mff.cuni.cz after filling the registration form. Please, provide the list of participants for whom the fees are to be paid by a single transfer and your identification as it should appear on the invoice (name of the institution, address, VAT number, ...). An invoice in CZK recalculated using the daily EUR/CZK rate of the Czech National Bank (total amount will be ceiled up to 10 CZK) will be provided together with payment details.

Cancellation policy/Terms & Conditions
Participants wishing to cancel their registration must inform the organizers by e-mail at iwsm2012@karlin.mff.cuni.cz with a subject CANCEL. In the cancellation e-mail, please, provide full details of a bank account (name of the account holder, bank address, BIC/SWIFT code, IBAN number) into which a reimbursement of the appropriate part of the fees (see below) should be transferred.

Cancelation is valid after it is confirmed by a returned e-mail and the following reimbursement of payed registration fees (for both mandatory and optional items) will apply:

• 80% reimbursement of all fees when cancellation e-mail received by May 31, 2012;
• 60% reimbursement of all fees when cancellation e-mail received by June 15, 2012;
• 40% reimbursement of all fees when cancellation e-mail received by June 30, 2012;
• no reimbursement of any fees when cancellation e-mail received on July 1, 2012 or later, or in case of not showing up at the conference.

Reimbursements will be processed after the conference using the bank transfer with the BEN payment instruction, latest by August 31, 2012.
